Think carefully before changing your job

Changing jobs is not a bad thing, but it is also not a good thing to stumble upon a job in a hurry without thinking too much.

Before saying bye to your current job, just take a look at this check list, then you will be able to decide whether your decision to leave the job is right or wrong.

Getting a better job than this?

If you are getting a good offer from your current job, then it is good to accept it. Good chances don't come often. Sticking to the old job for fear of taking on a new challenge and working in a new environment can affect your financial progress. In such a situation, feel free to say 'bye' to the old job. But keep in mind that along with getting a good salary in the new place, consider the possibility of your progress.

Want to study?

If you want to study further and it is not possible to do both things together, then give importance to education first. If the year is a two-year course, then you can also apply for leave for that time. If the boss does not accept it, then there is no option but to leave the job because it is more important to prepare yourself for a bright future.

Office environment not good?

In many offices, mutual tussle among the employees, activities like non-receipt of credit to an employee despite doing good work or mobilization of a particular group start talking head-on. Lazy and negative employees go after hardworking and hardworking employees and in all this, the role of the boss remains like a puppet. If you are an agile and honest employee, it will not be possible for you to survive for long in such a stifling environment.

Don't like your current job?

You don't like the responsibility you are carrying out? Are you interested in a sales line and have been added to accounts? Salary is getting good but job satisfaction is not getting? Obviously, you: are not able to work with your full energy, nor are you getting the opportunity to polish yourself, so there is no harm in changing jobs.

Keep these things in mind

  • Do not take a big decision like leaving your job in a momentary anger.
  • Think carefully about the options before resigning to the boss.
  • Keep the written resignation letter with you for at least 4-5 days so that it is possible to change the decision if you change your mind.
  • Find a new job before leaving your current job.
  • Try to maintain good and cordial relationship with the boss and employees here even after leaving the current job.
